FAQS
Can I use a road bike? Yes you can use a road bike, dedicated triathlon bike or a mountain bike. We only ask your bike is in safe working order with brakes working well and tyres in good condition. Bikes will be inspected during race check in and any concerns will be discussed with you should an issue be identified.
Is the Enticer suitable for beginners? Yes this is the perfect distance to get a taste of triathlon. We have intentionally kept the bike leg short to keep you away from the more challenging sections of the course. This is a great distance for teenagers, beginners or anyone looking to enjoy a race over the shorter distance.
Can teams consist of two or three people? Yes teams can have two or three people. In a three person team one person would do a leg each, in a two person team one person will do two legs and the other one.
Where is Ben Chifley Dam located? The dam is located just outside Bathurst. If you search Ben Chifley Dam in your maps you will be able to navigate to our event.
I entered a team race when do we start? Teams will start with the individual races e.g. if you are in the enticer as a team you will start when the enticer race starts. When a team member has completed their leg of the race they will hand the timing chip to the next person to where while completing the next leg of the race.
