The Bathurst Christmas triathlon is a fun event aimed at getting individuals and teams racing in the festive spirit. So get some friends together and race as a team or give have a go racing solo. We have a range of distances and formats designed to encourage everyone to have a go.
Events Available
Triathlon Sprint (teams or individual): Swim 500 / Bike 20km / Run 5km Starts at 8am. Price Club Members Free, Adults $50, Team ($50 per team), 21 and under $25, Members of other Triathlon Clubs $25
Triathlon Enticer Swim 200m/Bike 8.5km/ Run 2.5km Starts at 8.15am. Price Club Members Free, Adults $40, 21 and under $20,Members of other Triathlon Clubs $20
Swim/Run: Swim 500m / Run 5km Starts at 8am in conjunction with the sprint. Price Club Members Free, Adults $50, 21 and under $25. Members of other Triathlon Clubs $25
Swim/Bike: Swim 500m/ Bike 20km Starts at 8am in conjunction with the sprint. Price Club Members Free, Adults $50, 21 and under $25, Members of other Triathlon Clubs $25
Bike/Run: Bike 20km/ Run 5km Starts at 8am in conjunction with the sprint. Price Club Members Free, Adults $50, 21 and under $25, Members of other Triathlon Clubs $25
Junior Event Triathlon 1: Swim 25m/ bike 2km Run / 1km Starts at 10am. Price. Club Members Free, Non Club Members $15, Members of Other Tri Clubs $5
Junior Event Triathlon 2: Swim 100m/ Bike 5km / run 2km Starts at 10.20am. Price Club Members Free, Non Club Members $15 Members of Other Tri Clubs $5
Information for Teams: Teams can consist of 2 or 3 members, that is one person can do a leg each or one person can do two of the legs and one the other. Teams will hand over the timing chip in transition so the person completing the leg always has the timing chip on.
Access to the venue: The road will be closed to Chifley Dam from 8am for safety of the participants in the sprint and enticer triathlon. For families coming out for the kids race we will open the road once the final cyclists has completed their cycle leg, we estimate this to be around 9.15am. If the road is closed when you arrive please just wait till the traffic controller gives you clearance to enter. During the kids event the road down to the cabins area will be closed to ensure safety of the kids, however the Chifley Dam road will be open to allow general public access to the dam.
Entry Fees Payment and Registration
Entry using the link below. Payment will be made on the day. If you don’t show up, its ok, we wont charge you so enter risk free. If paying cash that is great please bring the correct amount. Card payment will be available also. Entry race morning is possible.
